This sounds like good news:
Federal drug agents won’t pursue pot-smoking patients or their sanctioned suppliers in states that allow medical marijuana, under new legal guidelines to be issued Monday by the Obama administration.
It’s about damned time.

Having had not one, but two parents endure chemo and radiation for treatment of different types of cancer, and watching the nausea and loss of appetite that ensued, I’d have given anything to be able to watch them freely smoke a joint or eat an Alice B. Toklas brownie, if it had taken away their discomfort and given them an appetite. It’s about freaking time, and I wish it were legal in Illinois.
