One of my spies at Google has captured this covert photo of Google testing the follow-on technology to their non-web Publication Ads technology. It’s exactly what I predicted:
Classical liberalism, criminal laws, the war on drugs, economics, free speech, technology, photography, sex work, cats, and whatever else comes to mind.
In case this by any chance isn’t photoshopped please tell me — we got a scoop! :)
Heh, Between adjustments, masks, and content, that’s about 27 layers of photoshop. Somehow I got it in my head that I wanted all the images to be legal, so the landscape and buildings are from a photo I took from the revolving restaurant at the top of the Hyatt Hotel in downtown Milwaukee, the blimp photo I bought for $3 from iStockphoto.com, and the dot-matrix text is from one of the simulated components made by iocomp.com. I’m strictly an amateur at Photoshop, so this took about 4 hours of fiddling, and there are still all kinds of problems. However, I think it doesn’t quite scream FAKE at first glance…
