“Nothing to see; move along now,” in four steps

November 24, 2008 By Joel Rosenberg Leave a Comment

Step one: Walk into any gun shop, and take a look at the empty spaces on the shelves where EBRs/Evil Black Rifles/Semiauto Assault Weapons/Scary-looking long guns used to be.  Watch the remaining ones fly off the shelves, and people place backorders.  Or just read reports by folks who have done just that.  There's plenty; here's one. Step two:  browse over … [Read more...] about “Nothing to see; move along now,” in four steps

When is a Sex Offender not a Sex Offender?

While, on balance, I prefer to be discreet, as I think there's real disadvantages to open carry, most times, most places, there are some arguments in favor of it. 1. Bad people -- well, bad people without badges -- … [Read more...] about Open Carry: Threat or Menace?

Randazza Meets the TSA

November 21, 2008 By Mark Draughn Leave a Comment

Marc Randazza lives an interesting life: They open the bag, and see that I'm traveling with exactly one t-shirt, one toothbrush, one pair of socks, a pair of underwear, and 50 porn movies, which they lay out on the table one by one. Whole story here. … [Read more...] about Randazza Meets the TSA
