How To Succeed At Crime

June 16, 2006 By Mark Draughn Leave a Comment

Want to commit non-violent crimes and not get prosecuted? According to an AP piece on Yahoo, it's not as hard as you might think: Dan L'Allier said he witnessed 45 tons of the New York loot being unloaded in Minnesota at his company's headquarters. He and disaster specialist Chris Christopherson complained to a company executive, but were ordered to keep quiet. They … [Read more...] about How To Succeed At Crime

If I made a mistake I would call the person at home and tell them to send me their copy so I could void it out, show up in court where I would explain the error and … [Read more...] about A Few Slightly Bad Apples

Time for a Ticket

February 9, 2006 By Mark Draughn 1 Comment

Sometimes technology lets you down in the most frustrating way. When I'm driving home, there's a turn I have to make pretty regularly that is prohibited by a "No Left Turn" sign after 4 pm. As I approached the turn yesterday, it was 3:44, which is right at my limit. Any closer than that, and I skip the turn and go home the long way. I took the turn and drove home without … [Read more...] about Time for a Ticket
