I’m not a cop hater. It’s a hard job, and they don’t make the rules they enforce. But I think I hate this cop. The video is not pleasant.
Everyone runs into strange dogs—-postal workers, firemen, door-to-door salesmen, Jehova’s Witnesses, meter readers, telephone line workers, garbage collectors, other cops, and even little kids walking home from school—and we all get by without killing them.
If you’re a cop, and you can’t handle a rambunctious farm dog, just quit your fucking job. You’re too dumb to have a badge and gun. Or else you’re a creep who gets a kick out of having the power to kill other people’s dogs. Either way, find some other line of work.
The part that caught me was that he stopped for directions. No business being there. Just directions. And one dead dog.
Yeah, that gets me too. It’s not like he had to be there.
This particular cop CLEARLY doesn’t need to be in possession of a deadly weapon. And all those who attempted to get the woman to back off and not press forward need to be severely reprimanded for their behavior as well.
If they want to push something like this under the rug, they’d have no “issues” with pushing other crimes under the rug as well.
Yeah, this is one of those “but for the video” incidents that Scott Greenfield keeps bringing up. If she didn’t have video proof, the department would have brushed her off.
