Everyone these days is talking about the unusual ending to The Sopranos. But when it comes to ending a TV series, David Chase can’t touch Hazim Al-Sha’arawi.
Al-Sha’arawi created Tomorrow’s Pioneers a now-cancelled weekly children’s television show airing on Al-Aqsa TV, the official television station of Hamas, the (ostensibly former terrorist) organization that now runs Palestine. It’s main character is Farfour, an apparent ripoff of Micky Mouse, who discusses elements of the Islamic way of life, such as daily prayers, proper diet, and hating Israel.
In the last episode, Farfour was beaten to death by a Jew.

Actually I was thinking the mouse was secretly a Jew. Remember the “American Tale” animated film, with those Jewish mice, the Mousekiwitzes?
